Real Wedding: Meaghan & Nick | The Carltun | Long Island, NY |

I met Meghan back when we were both students in the education program at Providence College (go Friars!). When she contacted me at the beginning of 2019 about customizing details for her February wedding, I was thrilled.

Meaghan and Nick wed in Long Island and held their reception at The Carltun. Their gorgeous day, as captured by the amazingly talented Jennifer Lam Photography, featured shades of muted mauve, gold and ivory.

Meghan was incredibly intentional about all of her wedding details, which made designing and creating her calligraphy pieces a truly collaborative process.

Gold and mauve calligraphy complimented the rich colors of florals by Beautiful Flowers NY. Meaghan wanted the calligraphy on the place cards, table numbers and scrolls to be delicate and thin, which created a romantic look.

The couple referenced their first dance song in some small signage that was displayed next to the cake. Not only was this the sweetest detail, it also makes for beautiful home décor!
